Super Junior to Leave Leeteuk’s Leader Position Vacant Until He Returns
Amidst rampant speculation on who would take over as leader of Super Junior during Leeteuk’s military service, SM Entertainment has finally addressed the issue.
According to a source from SM Entertainment, the Super Junior members expressed their wish to leave Leeteuk’s leader seat vacant until he returns. The members felt Leeteuk was their eternal leader of Super Junior and instead of selecting one individual as leader, the members would all step up to fill a bit of Leeteuk’s empty spot.
The members also felt with so many years and history between them, the selection of a single leader felt unnecessary as the members await Leeteuk′s return in two years.
